Information Quality at NSF

This page outlines the U.S. National Science Foundation's efforts to ensure the quality, objectivity, utility and integrity of the information we disseminate.

This information conforms to the requirements of the Office of Management and Budget's government-wide guidelines for the "Information Quality Act" and OMB's bulletin on information quality for peer review.

NSF's Information Quality Guidelines

NSF's Information Quality Guidelines describe the basic standard of quality the agency will adopt for information it disseminates, including statistical information, studies, reports and summaries.

At this time, NSF has received no information-quality correction requests. NSF will update this page if it receives any requests.

Influential scientific information

Based on the review it has conducted, NSF believes that it does not currently produce or sponsor the distribution of influential scientific information.

As a result, at this time NSF has no agenda of forthcoming influential scientific disseminations to post on its website.
