National Science Board to Meet (May 9)

Journalists are invited to attend the next open session of the National Science Board (NSB) on Thursday, May 9, 2002 at the National Science Foundation, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Room 1235, Arlington, Va.
(Check in at security desk, 9th & Stuart entrance)
A media availability with the National Science Board chair and the National Science Foundation director will be held in Room 1240 after adjournment of the open session.

Open session agenda -- Thurs., May 9 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon and 12:30-3:30 p.m.:

Morning session:

  • Minutes of March 2002 meeting
  • Closed session items for August 2002 meeting
  • Chair's Report
  • Director's Report
  • Annual NSB business

Afternoon session:

    - S&T Policy Context - John Marburger, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology Policy
