Strange Matter
This traveling museum show offers visitors a hands-on tour through the world of modern materials. Created with major funding by the National Science Foundation and presented by the Materials Research Society, "Strange Matter" offers up to ten different exhibition areas, ranging from Magnetic Liquids and Memory Metal to Crystals and Foam—all developed, designed and fabricated by the Ontario Science Centre. To accommodate as many audiences as possible, the show comes in a 6000-square foot version for large exhibit halls, and a 1700 square-foot version for smaller venues.
