The Division of Ocean Sciences (OCE) at NSF uses a listserv (email distribution list) as an important mechanism of communication with the community. In addition to filling a role to distribute information directly, such as Dear Colleague Letters, Solicitations, etc., OCE will use the listserv to bring to the community's attention other ongoing activities that will be posted to the www site, such as changes in personnel (e.g., Program Office rotators, staff, etc.).
