ABSTRACT

Data - acquisition equipment will be provided for researchers at Carnegie Mellon University for research in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This equipment is provided under the Instrumentation Grants for Research in Computer and Information Science and Engineering program. The research for which the equipment is to be used will be in the areas of: Motion in Image and Vision Systems with Real Imagery (J.Moura) Speech Enhancement and Dynamic Adaptation for Automatic Speech Recognition (R.Stern) Dynamic Tactile Sensing (P.Khosla) Distributed Control of Hybrid Systems (M.Bodson and B.Krogh)
