General inquiries
The U.S. National Science Foundation Reception and Information Center provides a "first stop" for inquiries about the agency's programs, offices, staff and publications. The center can also refer you to the correct NSF office or other information source.

Telecommunications relay services
Individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability who need to contact NSF by phone (TTY, TDD or TeleBraille) may dial the following numbers to access telecommunications relay services:
- Domestic callers: Dial 711 to connect to NSF.
- International callers: Dial 1-800-548-2546 or 1-605-224-1837 preceded by your country code to reach a U.S. relay service provider and ask to be connected to NSF.
