Notice of Intent to Sole Source 49100421P9027: Customer Experience Workshop

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the Partnership for Public Service to provide a Customer Experience Workshop.

The Customer Experience Workshop is specifically geared toward federal leaders and addresses how to benchmark and develop customer experience vision and strategy for the agency. This workshop builds on training sessions held over the summer for federal staff and supervisors.

The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that offers several industry standard leadership development programs and seminars tailored to federal employees and predicated on research in public sector agencies and institutions. The Partnership developed the Public Service Leadership Model as a guide for federal leaders focusing on the core values that should guide federal employees. The longstanding relationship the Partnership has developed with federal agencies is not replicated by other training vendors.

The Partnership's unique seminar models are focused on practical application in the federal space, and will help NSF build the long-term in-house capacity to innovate and achieve results. The seminars apply best practices from the public and private sectors and reinforce lessons by creating a plan to address real time challenges the agency faces. The Partnerships knowledge of NSF needs and seminar models makes them the only vendor capable of delivering this training.

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106.1(b). This Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
