We are thrilled to invite you to the virtual 2024 U.S. National Science Foundation 6th Annual Frontiers in Ocean Sciences Symposium on Monday June 24, 2024 from 12:30 to 4:15 PM ET.

In celebration of June as National Ocean Month, the NSF Frontiers in Ocean Sciences Symposium highlights NSF-supported scientists who are transforming ocean science.

Hosted by the NSF Division of Ocean Sciences, this year’s speakers are:

  • Andrew Babbin, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  • Kristin Grimes, University of the Virgin Islands
  • Bärbel Hönisch, Columbia University
  • Joellen Russell, University of Arizona

The Symposium will close with an Alumni Panel featuring:

  • Noel Jackson, University of Kansas
  • Patrick Heimbach, University of Texas at Austin
  • Heidi Sosik, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution 
  • Angelique White, University of Hawai’i at Mānoa
