More institutions to participate in quantum science and engineering with $38M from NSF

High school students in the University of Maryland's Advanced Physics Summer Girls' Camp view an ion trap.

High school students in the University of Maryland's Advanced Physics Summer Girls' Camp view an ion trap used for quantum information processing, a tour sponsored by the QLCI for Robust Quantum Simulation. The students toured the lab of Norbert Linke, whose research explores different quantum physics applications for trapped ions, such as quantum information processing, quantum simulation and quantum networking.
