Structure of zeolite in a catalyst. Each tetrahedron represents either SiO2 (silicon dioxide) or HAlO2 (hydrogen aluminum dioxide). The spaces in the structure (highlighted) are called "micropores" and are roughly the same size as gasoline molecules.
