STEM Education Directorate 2023 Distinguished Lecture Series

The STEM Education Directorate established its distinguished lecture series in 1995 to stimulate meaningful conversations on grand challenges and salient concerns in science and engineering education practice, research, and broadening participation.

Over the years our lecture series has included notable scholars, scientists, and researchers including Nobel Laureates Martin Chalfie and Carl Wieman, and National Medal of Science awardee S. James Gates, Jr., among many others.

This year, EDU's series features Dr. Carol D. Lee of Northwestern University, Dr. William Tate IV of Louisiana State University, Dr. Mitchel Resnick of the MIT Media Lab, and Dr. Fred Bonner II of Prairie View A&M University. Find available recordings below.
