"Vision and Change in Undergraduate Biology" Initiative Charts New Path for College-level Biology

The report includes recommendations designed to ensure that biology majors and non-majors better understand the nature of the scientific enterprise and the living natural world. A key recommendation is that biology courses and curricula must engage students in scientific inquiry, which includes evaluating and interpreting scientific explanations of the natural world.
