Rochelle D. Ray is the Branch Chief for the Resolution and Advanced Monitoring Branch (RAM) in the Division of Institution and Award Support (DIAS). As Branch Chief, Rochelle is responsible for post award activities such as audit resolution, advanced monitoring and post award adjustment review functions. Rochelle also serves as a subject matter expert on issues related to federal assistance awards and compliance.
With more than 25 years of experience in compliance and grant management, Rochelle previously worked for NSF as the Team Lead for Audit Resolution and as a Grants Officer in the Division of Grants and Agreements (DGA). Prior to that, Rochelle assumed increasing responsibilities across several of the Foundation's program areas, serving as Program Analyst within the Directorate for Education and Human Resources and, earlier, as a Senior Program Assistant within the Directorate for Biological Sciences.
Rochelle began her career at NSF in June 1991, after graduating from Towson State University (Towson University) where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance.
