Recorded HBCU-UP proposal preparation webinars: Please use the following recordings, as they are intended to provide helpful information for HBCU-UP proposal development. Please be sure to review the NSF 23-563 solicitation thoroughly and adhere to the indicated guidelines.

Broadening Participation Research Centers Proposal Development - Preliminary Proposal Focus (slides available here) – Note: The required Preliminary Proposal Deadline is the 4th Tuesday in March, and the full proposal is due the 4th Thursday in November in even years.

Research on Broadening Participation in STEM (BPR) (slides available here), Implementation Projects (IMP) (slides available here), and Targeted Infusion Projects (TIP) Proposal Development (slides available here) – Note: The required Letter of Intent Deadline is the 2nd Tuesday in September, and the full proposal is due the 2nd Thursday in November.

Research Initiation Awards (RIA) Proposal Development (slides available here) – Note: The required Letter of Intent Deadline is the 4th Tuesday in July, and the full proposal is due the first Tuesday in October.
