EVENT: OPP Arctic Sciences Section Office Hours

Please join the National Science Foundation’s Arctic Sciences Section for an office hour on October 20, from 10 to 11am PDT (1pm EST to 2pm EST). During this time, program officers discuss topics including broader impacts, the timing of Arctic community engagement, data policy and repository resources, and an update on the upcoming field season logistics and COVID-19 management. There will also be ample time for Q&A with the community.

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering. NSF supports research and people by providing facilities, instruments and funding to support their ingenuity and sustain the U.S. as a global leader in research and innovation. With a fiscal year 2023 budget of $9.5 billion, NSF funds reach all 50 states through grants to nearly 2,000 colleges, universities and institutions.
