Researchers demonstrate promising method for improving quantum information processing

A team of researchers led by the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory has demonstrated a new method for splitting light beams into their frequency modes, work that could spur advancements in quantum information processing and distributed quantum computing.Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
