UPDATE: Tropical Storm Harvey and Antarctic medical review

September 5, 2017

Officials with the University of Texas Medical Branch say that while conditions in Galveston are slowly returning to normal, it is expected to take some time for their operations to resume on their usual schedule.

Phone and cellular service remain intermittent and there is limited ability for UTMB personnel to dial out of their building.

Surface mail has not been received for roughly a week, but may resume Aug. 31.

For faxed information, while the situation remains changeable, at the moment applicants may expect an email confirming receipt of information within 3-4 business days.
