Gladiator games: Biodiversity can offer protection to weaker species

In a study of competition among fungal species, Yale University researchers found that biodiversity tends to beget biodiversity, a finding that could help in efforts to protect some of the world's most threatened ecosystems, including coral reefs.Full Story
