Coral conservation efforts aided by computer simulations

Contrary to a prevailing theory, coral larvae could not survive the 5,000-kilometer trip across the Pacific Ocean to replenish endangered corals in the eastern Pacific Ocean, according to new research. The results provide important information to aid conservation efforts for the economically and environmentally important coral reefs in the eastern Pacific.Full StorySource
