Research from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and the University of California, Berkeley, published online Dec. 10 in Nature reports how some proteins survive extreme heat generated when they catalyze reactions.Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
