Quantum Computers Could Help Search Engines Keep Up With the Internet's Growth

With the web constantly expanding, researchers at the University of Southern California have proposed--and demonstrated the feasibility of--using quantum computers to speed up the processing of Google's page ranking algorithm.Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
