Study Shows Adaptive Capacity of Reef Corals to Climate Change May Be Widespread

A large-scale global survey of corals by the University of Miami using high-sensitivity genetic analysis shows many coral species can host multiple algal symbionts--including some thought to help them survive warming oceans.Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
