Poop Reveals an Immigrant in Isle Royale Wolves' Gene Pool

Until recently, scientists studying the wolves of Isle Royale National Park thought they'd been totally isolated on the Lake Superior island for more than half a century. Now, by analyzing droppings, they've found the DNA of a fairly recent immigrant wolf from Canada.Full Story
