NIST Scientists Gain New 'Core' Understanding of Nanoparticles

A National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) research team has uncovered a mystery in the magnetic response of iron-oxide nanoparticles, one that may be a key to controlling nanoparticle magnetism for future applications.Full Story

The U.S. National Science Foundation propels the nation forward by advancing fundamental research in all fields of science and engineering.
