Oliver Hart of Harvard University (left) and Bengt Holmström of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (right) have been awarded the 2016 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. NSF has supported both of their research.
