Federally Funded Research and Development Centers Employed More Than 3,000 Postdoctoral Researchers in 2010

Federally funded research and development centers play an important role in U.S. science and engineering. A recent report released by the National Science Foundation details that 22 of the 39 centers collectively reported employing a total of 3,011 postdocs.
