Data Link Project Provides New Insight About the U.S. R&D Activities of Multinational Companies

The project matched records from NSF-Census and BEA surveys. Findings from the R&D Data Link Project showed that both U.S. multinational companies parent companies and U.S. affililates of foreign multinational companies devoted about three-fourths of their R&D expenditures to development activities.
