Array of hollow microparticles

An array of hollow microparticles developed in a laboratory for timed-release drug delivery. These particles, which are loaded with colored dye, are small enough to fit through a standard hypodermic needle and designed to biodegrade over time, releasing their drug payload weeks or even months after injection.
