More about this image
Supported by the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education program, SHINE promotes nanotechnology education throughout the Pacific Northwest region. SHINE educates nanotechnology students to meet industry needs through hands-on instruction and high-quality instrumentation; creates internship opportunities for students to work directly with industry; and offers high-quality professional development opportunities to high school and community college educators.

You can read more about SHINE in the publication ATE Centers IMPACT: Partners with Industry for a new American Workforce. (Date image taken: unknown; date originally posted to NSF Multimedia Gallery: Sept. 3, 2017)
