All media in the gallery are intended for personal, educational and nonprofit/non-commercial use only.
Videos credited to the National Science Foundation, an agency of the U.S. Government, may be distributed freely. However, some materials within the videos may be copyrighted. A John S. Toll Professor of Physics at the University of Maryland, College Park, Gates is a member of the President Obama's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
