SUSY and the Lord of the Rings

The last decade in physics has led to an array of new ideas including one called supersymmetry (SUSY for short). If valid, Nature may soon begin to reveal the existence of "superpartners," new forms of matter and energy. At the CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland is a ring that will rule upon them all. It is called the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), and has recently been in the news. Join Dr. Sylvester James Gates to learn about this Fellowship of the Ring!
