Hydrokinetic energy to power our future at the USA Science and Engineering Festival

Researchers at the University of Minnesota taught kids the science behind hydrokinetic energy at the USA Science and Engineering Festival. The festival, held April 25-27, 2014, in Washington, DC, attracted more than 320,000 attendees. NSF was a big presence with 23 exhibits and 24 stage shows showcasing NSF-funded research.
