Videos credited to the National Science Foundation, an agency of the U.S. Government, may be distributed freely. However, some materials within the videos may be copyrighted. Behind the Scenes in Antarctica with the National Science Foundation and Disneynature Penguins
It is no easy task to film thousands of penguins in their natural habitat on a remote Antarctic coastline—but it was made possible with the support of the National Science Foundation-managed U.S. Antarctic Program. See what it was like to film “on the ice” with camerawomen Sophie Darlington and Julie Moniere, who both spent a month in Antarctica filming penguins and other wildlife for Disneynature’s Penguins, out in theaters April 17, 2019.
