Darwin Anniversary

A new National Science Foundation online report, "Evolution of Evolution: 150 Years of Darwin's On The Origin of Species," features an international group of scientists who provide their thoughts on the question: How has Charles Darwin's "Origin" influenced science and society during the last 150 years?

This image accompanied NSF press release, "Scientists' Next Big Discoveries Predicted in Online Report on the 150th Anniversary of 'On The Origin of Species.'" NSF also produced a Special Report--updated on the original publication's anniversary--that gives a surprising glimpse inside the science and society that fueled Darwin's rise to science stardom, available Here.
