Rapid Response COVID-19COVID-19 Dashboard updates the world with critical data
You could call the Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 Dashboard an overnight success. The idea grew out of a discussion among engineers, and 24 hours later anyone with Internet access could track Coronavirus cases. Within days, it was clear that the Dashboard, run by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering, had a worldwide audience. That audience now includes everyone from the public to leaders and policymakers to researchers and the media. This is a behind-the-scenes look at the Dashboard's creation, its critical role in providing accurate public data on Coronavirus cases, and how that data will support research that informs decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond.
