Engineering Biology and Health Cluster

Important information for proposers

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

Synopsis

The Engineering Biology and Health (EBH) Cluster consists of five programs that focus on the integration of engineering and life sciences to solve problems affecting humanity. The EBH Cluster supports engineering research to improve human health and the understanding of biological and physiological systems. This includes efforts to promote novel and reproducible systems for detection, screening, and modeling in cells and tissues, stimulating advancements in synthetic biology and biomanufacturing, and improving quality of life through technologies and devices. The EBH Cluster has multiple topics that cross programs both within CBET and throughout NSF.
