Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation (EFRI) Webinar

About the series

On Friday, October 23, 2015, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm Eastern time, the NSF Office of Emerging Frontiers and Multidisciplinary Activities (EFMA) will host a webinar to discuss the FY 2016 solicitation for the Emerging Frontiers in Research and Innovation program (EFRI).

EFRI investigators pursue cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research with the potential for transformative impacts on national needs and grand challenges.

The FY 2016 EFRI solicitation (16-502) calls for proposals in two topic areas:

  • TOPIC 1:  Advancing Communication Quantum Information Research in Engineering (ACQUIRE)
  • TOPIC 2:  New Light and Acoustic Wave Propagation: Breaking Reciprocity and Time-Reversal Symmetry (NewLAW)

During this webinar, potential proposers to the program will be able to ask questions about the new solicitation and learn more about EFRI.
