A new imaging technique lets researchers simultaneously capture all neuronal activity in a worm.


A new imaging technique enables brain researchers to simultaneously capture the activity of all 302 neurons in the worm Caenorhabditis elegans. The cells light up in real time as they fire, revealing how information travels through the nervous system.
