Honoring exemplary math and science teachers
Math teacher Diane Schnellhammer, 2007 PAEMST awardeed, works with AP calculus students on building mathematical models. President Ronald Reagan recognized the value of exceptional math and science teachers when Congress created the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 1983.
