Synopsis: 49100420Q0213 - Tabulations of IHS Markit's Output Data
The National Science Foundation (NSF) and NSF's National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) intends to make an award to IHS Markit to procure information on global output and trade data. These data are needed to generate indicators of the patterns and trends in value-added nominal output, imports and exports of knowledge and technology-intensive industries across countries.
The output and trade data must be generated by a large and complex macroeconomic model. Furthermore, the data must generate indicators of the patterns and trends of the US and global knowledge-intensive industries, which are published biennially in the Science and Engineering Indicators report.
Under the order, the funding will cover the costs of the annual and quarterly data.
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
