The Project Description must contain, as a separate section within the narrative, a section labeled "Broader Impacts of the Proposed Activities".  This section is required regardless of whether the proposal is in the BP track or in the IBSS track.

A revised version of the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 16-1), is effective for proposals submitted, or due, on or after January 25, 2016. Please be advised that, depending on the specified due date, the guidelines contained in NSF 16-1 may apply to proposals submitted in response to this funding opportunity.

SYNOPSIS

The Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) offers Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in two tracks: (i) Broadening Participation (SPRF-BP), and (ii) Interdisciplinary Research in Behavioral and Social Sciences (SPRF-IBSS).  See the full text of the solicitation for detailed description of these tracks.
