HSPD-12 Implementation Plan Summary

Date of Full Implementation: August 20, 2009

As of 8/20/2009, NSF has completed issuance of PIV credentials to all employees and contractors and completed the integration of PIV credentials with physical access control systems (PACS).

NSF is not required to use PIV credentials with LACS.
Planned Completion Dates:

Complete issuance of PIV credentials to all employees and contractors - 09/01/09.

Complete adjudication or verification of background investigations for all employees and contractors - 05/29/09

Complete integration of PIV credentials with logical access control systems - N/A: NSF is not required to use PIV credentials with LACS.
