Data is unavailable for most of Western Europe. Greater than 75 percent of the population within most South American and Middle Eastern nations have access to safe drinking water, while South Asian, some nations within Oceania, and many African nations have generally less access -- in some cases less than half of these nations’ populations have safe drinking water access.
