Yoga and meditation may help achieve computer-brain meld

Training in mind/body awareness through practices like yoga or meditation allows people to learn a brain-computer interface faster. "Increasingly, we're turning to systems that connect brains with computer systems to help patients with physical disabilities like paralysis, but the length of training has been a major obstacle to success," said lead author Bin He, Ph.D., director of the Center for Neuroengineering at the University of Minnesota.
