Developing Policy on Moving Threatened Species Called "A Grand Challenge for Conservation"

An expert group of researchers published its consensus on the multiple factors that should be considered when managed relocation of a threatened species or other biological grouping is being considered as a response to climate change. Developing a functional policy framework for this controversial practice is "a grand challenge for conservation," the group writes.Full Story
