Antarctica is heating up. An NSF-supported researcher at the University of Washington combined historical temperature data from ground-based weather stations with more recent data from NASA satellites and discovered that the continent as a whole is getting warmer. The discovery is outlined in a paper published today in the journal Nature.Full Story
