Concerns over our nation's cybersecurity are growing. The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security sponsor the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance to create education and research programs at colleges and universities to help meet the challenges facing our nation's cyber infrastructure. Last month the two organizations designated six community colleges as National Centers for the first time. All six centers developed their cybersecurity programs with support from the National Science Foundation.
