Team USA Brings Home the (Linguistics) Gold
Young Americans earn medals competing against other high schoolers from around the world in the International Linguistics Olympiad in Bulgaria

The U.S. team shows their awards after a successful showing at the 2008 International Linguistics Olympiad in Bulgaria in August 2008. More than 700 students tried out for the team at 77 events across the country. This was the U.S. team's second year participating in the event.
