Testing and evaluating the BAT

Altaeros Energies tests and evaluates its novel Buoyant Airborne Turbine -- or the BAT -- prototype at Loring Airforce Base in Maine. The BAT can reach 2,000 feet (600 meters), where wind speeds are faster and have five to eight times greater power density.
