How high can you Pi?
Some things in life never change. The ability to recall bits of information memorized as a child and the fact that pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter--doesn't matter how big or small a circle is, that never changes! Yes, we can always count on pi to stay the same. And what we learn from this video is that we also can count on scientists and engineers who work at NSF (and probably many, many others!) to quickly recall those infinite digits that make up the number for pi that were probably buried in the deep recesses of their brains.
This year is a special year for pi as not only can we celebrate it on March 14 aka 3.14, we have the unique opportunity to recall the following digits beyond those most remembered to find the exact perfect moment for celebration: 3.14.15 at 9:26:53. (3.141592653...) You get the picture. Happy Pi Day!
